WHAT'S THE BEST NEWS YOU'VE EVER HEARD?

At an unprecedented time like this, many of us will be asking more difficult questions about the meaning of life and the existence of God.

Over the next several weeks we are running an online CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED COURSE and would love to give you the opportunity
to be part of it.

LOVING THE RYLANDS WITH THE TRANSFORMING MESSAGE OF JESUS

Due to Coronavirus, our usual Sunday service at 10am has been suspended. We will be live streaming services, without physically gathering together.

This is a difficult and chaotic time for us all. If you would like someone to talk to or pray with, please do get in touch.

ABOUT US: Who. Why. What.

Mobirise

Who are we? Rylands Community Church is a community of people who trust Jesus. While the majority of us live in the Rylands, we’re happy for anyone to join us as we’d love our community to grow.

We welcome anyone who wants to explore what we believe as well as Christians who have moved into the area.

Why are we here? The good news about Jesus is the message we want people to understand, explore and have opportunity to respond to; it's the message that shapes our lives together as a group of people in the Rylands.

Check out this short video to begin to explore more about who Jesus is and the implications that has for everyone.

What do we do? We believe that the christian faith is lived as a community; shaped by the Bible we want to invest in each other, while seeking to do good to those around us.

We meet together on a Sunday morning to listen to God's word in the Bible, to sing, pray and to encourage each other. We also meet in smaller groups through the week, where we are able to share life more intentionally. Our gathered times together help us to remember who Jesus is and all he has done, so that we might be a community that lives out the Christian faith in the ordinary stuff of life.

In our Sunday gatherings we have safe and fun activities for children, where they are able to ask questions and grow in their understanding of who Jesus is and all he has done.

SUNDAYS

...might be a great place to start

We usually meet every Sunday morning at 10am, with coffee served from 9:45am, at Trent Vale Infant School. Due to Coronavirus we will be live streaming services instead.

What should you expect? Anyone is welcome to come along and explore more: whether you have questions, objections, or have been a Christian for many years, Sunday mornings would be a great place to start.

Fresh coffee & tea are served from 9:45am, with the meeting beginning at 10am. There's no dress code, so wear something casual and comfortable. We can be a little noisy, as many children belong to us, and are very welcome to be with us. We gather to sing, pray and listen to a talk from the Bible. Feel free to join in with as much or as little as you like.

Each week we have safe and fun activities for the children aged between 0-11 years old.

What Next?
Here are four different things you could do next.

Do you believe this message? Why not use these words to pray to God?

Lord Jesus, I believe that you rose from the dead. I call on your name and ask you to save me. I acknowledge you as my king and my God. I repent of my sins. I will stop living for myself and start worshiping you. Thank you for your promise to forgive my sins. I will declare my faith in you in public. Please help me to live for you by your Holy Spirit. Amen.

It's good to tell someone you've made this commitment. Feel free to drop us a line to let us know. Use the form below.

Why not read Luke's story of the life of Jesus (called a gospel)? You can do this for free by visiting bible.com (the link will take you to the Gospel of Luke). You can also listen to actor David Suchet, himself a Christian, read the text out.

Sometimes it's easier to read the Bible with someone else, and we'd love to do this with you. Drop us a line at info@rylands.org or use the form below and we'll be in touch to arrange something.

If you'd like to talk to someone, why not drop us a line. We'd love to chat - even if it is just over the phone for the moment. Drop us a line at info@rylands.org or use the form below. We'll get right back to you.
