Welcome to Rylands Community Church
We’re a church family taking delight in Jesus and helping others to know Him.
Whether you are exploring faith or looking for a local church that you can call family – you are welcome.
Celebrate Christmas with us!
Everyone is welcome as we think about Christmas each Sunday morning through December, but if you are not usually with us on a Sunday, we have two opportunities on Sun 14th Dec especially for you!
Whether you are interested in finding out why we believe that Christmas is really good news, or just want to enjoy singing some favourite carols, do come along at either 10am or 5pm to celebrate with us!
Scroll down to find us on the map.
Parking on site is limited and therefore reserved for those who need access but there is plenty of on street parking available nearby. We’ll be serving festive refreshments too!
We had such a good time making Christmas wreaths with lots friends from the community – thanks so much to those who came along! We hope to see you again at one of our carols services or on Christmas Day!
Coming up
Our Sunday Gatherings
We meet at 10am every Sunday morning in the hall at Trent Vale Infant School.
We believe that our main weekly meeting is a vital part of what it means to be God’s gathered people in the Rylands. Our time together on Sunday morning includes singing, praying, reading the bible, hearing some bible teaching and (approximately once each month) sharing communion.
The the ‘formal’ part of our meeting starts at 10am and lasts for approximately an hour and 15 minutes. Whether you are a follower of Jesus, or simply interested in joining us to find out more about who Jesus is and why there is a group of people in the Rylands meeting together to take delight in him – you are welcome!
We don’t have a dress code – come as you are. Most weeks we have separate activities for children where they learn together in groups – our leaders will point you in the right direction if you are arriving for the first time with children who want to join in!
We believe that the christian faith is lived as a community where people of all backgrounds are loved and cared for. We seek to use the gifts that God has given us to serve one another and our wider community. We share not only the good news about Jesus together - but our lives as well.
